2 Kings 4:14 EASY
But Elisha asked Gehazi again, ‘What can we do to help her?’ Gehazi said, ‘She has no son. But her husband is an old man.’
The story of the woman of Shunem was a very powerful scripture in the old testament scripture.
The woman had everything except that she had a child.
Elisha was determined to do something for her as a way of saying thank you to her for her hospitality so he asked what she wanted, she did not want anything because she felt she did not need anything.
She had gotten so comfortable with Barrenness that she felt that it was not a challenge again. She had taken it as part of her.
Even though she did not give the impression that she was in need, Elisha was so sure she needed something.
Now, understand that Elisha was a prophet. A prophet should ordinarily be able to discern the challenge of this woman, Elisha could not discern that this woman was barren. However, he knew she had a problem.
It took Elisha to ask Gehazi what her problem was before he could help her.
When satan wants to resist your answers, he keeps your mouth shut. You could stand in the same space with your helper and still act like you do not need help.
Some of you have had medical conditions that you have just decided to manage. You are enduring it, you have learnt every way to manage it. You have so perfected this that this medical challenge is no longer a big deal. This is the strategy of the devil to keep you in bondage.
Satan can also make sure that your helper would not be able to discern your problem.
The woman of Shunem would have died barren if not for the intervention of Gehazi.
Everyday we should keep speaking
Everyday we should keep insisting
Everyday we should keep mounting pressure until our mountains move!
This is the way of victory.
Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
The Shift Has Come
