Daniel 2:27-28 KJV
27. Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king;

28. but there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;

God can lift you so high until you stand before kings. You can be lifted so high that you stand before those that matter in any environment. God is very capable of doing that.

When God begin to place you on very strategic platforms you need to be careful. Avoid every temptation to take the credit for his mighty works.

God can share the honour from his glory (the workings of miracles and the supernatural) with you (John 17:22) but he will not share the glory of his mighty hand with you (Isaiah 42:8). He will resist you if you take credit for what you do because he gave you his glory (Acts 12:21 – 23).

Daniel had done what no man could do, he had done what no Wiseman could do. Even at this, he did not go to the king bragging. He did not go to the king boasting. He did not go to the king advertising or marketing himself. He told the king, I know these things because there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets.

This is why sometimes God will have to make you wait long in prayer so that you get to a point that you realize that you do not get results because of your efforts, you get results because God has shown mercy. .

The word of God is simple, you will never make a headway in life by your strength (1 Samuel 2:9), you do not get security by your strength (Psalm 127:1), you do not get saved by the strength of your works (Ephesians 2:8-9).

The scripture establishes that man is inadequate so that you give God the glory due him.

When God lifts you, it is not a time for self promotion, it is not a time for marketing, it is a time to witness Jesus.

All that you are and can do is only possible because THERE IS A GOD IN HEAVEN.

God can give you glory but never take credit for the manifestation of that glory.

Till we arrive at the point of the full manifestation of what God has said concerning us, we will continue to share some of these things as we journey.
