Why Results Are Important (Pt. 1)

18) Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

19) And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.”

Matthew 21:18-19 KJV

We begin a new series today on why results are important, and we’ll be studying this together over the next one or two weeks. But I’ll start today’s teaching with this thought:

“RESULTS ARE NOT A GIFT, YOU COMMAND THEM.”

If you look at today’s memory verse, when Jesus returned to the city, the Bible recorded that He was hungry. But the fig tree had no fruit. It’s safe to say that the fig tree had no result.

Every hungry man is satisfied when he can eat from the fruit of a tree. I liken this to many believers today—you’ve lost relationships, missed business opportunities, and even drifted in your walk with God—all because there’s no visible value on your life. There are no results, and as far as success on earth is concerned, nobody wants to walk with a fruitless or result-less believer.

What happened to the fig tree when it had no results?

Jesus cursed it.

No one wants to walk with someone who doesn’t produce results. When you lack results, you’re cursed—you lose people, you lose relationships, and nothing validates you anymore.

This is the situation many believers are in today. You appear to be blossoming—just like the fig tree—but when hungry people come to you, all they find are leaves, not fruit.

Many people live this way—no results to back up what they claim to be doing. The proof of hard work and labor is results.

• Nobody is interested that you prayed for 30 hours. Where is the result?

• Nobody is interested in how many days you fasted. Where is the result?

• Nobody is interested in hearing that God called you. Where are the results?

Sincerely, many people just work and work without desiring or commanding results.

Except by results—and excellent results—there is no proof of your efforts.

I prophesy over the life of anyone lacking results:

By the covenant God has with Rev. Dr. Olubusayo Folarin and DCA Global, receive excellent and miraculous results in Jesus’ name.

Results are important—and we’ve not even started on why they matter.

This is just the beginning.

It promises to be a life-changing series.

Make sure you don’t miss a single morning devotion.

Good Morning, Everyone!
