“A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.” Proverbs 18:16 KJV
Good morning, people of God. Let’s journey together once again, and I pray that in the name of Jesus, our lives take a shift through His Word this morning, in Jesus’ name.
We have been analyzing and studying how we can obtain excellent and accurate results. So far, we have looked at honor and integrity. Today, we will study the next key to activating excellent and accurate levels of results.
The third key is your gift, your value, and your contribution.
Let me say this to someone this morning: the degree to which you use the gift God has given you, and the degree to which you are valuable and contribute to the well-being of men in all spheres of life, is the degree to which you will experience excellent and accurate results.
Now, please read that again—this time carefully and with deeper understanding.
Let’s take a closer look at today’s Bible reading:
“A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”
This tells me clearly that your gift is one powerful avenue through which you can attain accurate and excellent results. I love how straightforward the scripture is—it tells you how much impact your gift can have, and the kind of powerful results it can bring you.
The problem many of us face today is that we don’t even know if we have a gift, and we cannot identify the gifts that God has deposited in us. So the question is: How can you get accurate and excellent results when you don’t even know your gift, sir?
It is only those who know their gift and use it effectively who will be valued by men and make meaningful contributions to others. Because how can you be valuable and make an impact when you haven’t yet discovered who you truly are?
The second problem is that some people know their gifts but have chosen to hide them—or, should I say, use them only for themselves.
But from what we know and from what God has opened our eyes to see through the lives of men who consistently get excellent results, it is clear: if you must get accurate and excellent results, you cannot hide your gift. You cannot use your gift only for yourself.
Sir, let me say this to you this morning: the gift God has given you is meant to earn you value in the system of men and to enable you to contribute meaningfully to the affairs of men.
By this principle, there is no limit to how much excellent and intelligent results you can obtain—with the help of God.
This is a wake-up call to everyone.
Begin to put these principles to use—and diligently so. You will see how much result God will give you.
Good morning once again.
