“But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.” I John‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Today, we would be referencing to lots of Biblical text. I pray that the LORD will give you understanding in Jesus name. Amen.

Before now, we have understood by studying and revelation that the Anointing is the indwelling of the Spirit of God in the life of a believer which enables him to understand, apply and administer spiritual truth. You see, one of the works of the Anointing is revealing the Truth.

“Someone living on an entirely human level rejects the revelations of God’s Spirit, for they make no sense to him. He can’t understand the revelations of the Spirit because they are only discovered by the illumination of the Spirit. Those who live in the Spirit are able to carefully evaluate all things, and they are subject to the scrutiny of no one but God. For Who has ever intimately known the mind of the Lord Yahweh well enough to become his counselor? Christ has, and we possess Christ’s perceptions.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭TPT‬‬

This is why many come to church, hear the word and yet there is no transformation in their lives, because the Spirit of God which gives the Anointing for understanding is not in them. Daniel and his three Hebrew friends were preferred because they had the Anointing which reveals the Truth on all matters to them and the King could trust whatever they say.

By the reason of this same Anointing on Daniel, the Bible says in Daniel 9:2 “in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.”  Believe this, there were many scholars then, who had the the same book and would even quote it for you word for word, yet the Truth was not revealed to them.

Ah, many believers are still in bondage they ought to have broken off them decades ago, but till now they have not found the Truth by the revelation of the Spirit on their lives, yet you think you do not need the Anointing?

One of my Pastor would always say, it is not just enough to know the will of God or hear Him once, the best is to know His will and His word for you per time, which means you must always be discerning to know what He is saying concerning your life per season.

Who has known the mind of God, Apostle Paul asked? And he said, Christ has, and we have the life of Christ, so we know the mind of God. How do I know this, John 15:15, Jesus speaking says, “I have called you my friend, for everything I have learnt from my Father, I made known to you”. 

By the Anointing, you are privy to discern the Truth concerning your life. Child of God, harness The Anointing in you.
