“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
John 15:5 NKJV
Good morning, God’s people, and happy Friday.
Child of God, YOU MUST BE FULLY AWARE THAT WITHOUT GOD, YOU ARE NOTHING.
From today’s memory verse, we are reminded of the reality we must accept. Yes, I know we have talents, we have strength, and we have plans, but the fulfilment of all these is that we abide in Him.
I was reading a book one day, and I read where someone said, “If God leaves him, there will be little left.” No, sir, do not believe it. The day God leaves anybody, that is the end of that person.
The only person who should be confident of bearing fruit, having strength, getting excellent results, having supernatural ideas and strategies, and succeeding in this kingdom is the one who is connected to Jesus.
GOD IS EVERYTHING TO THE BELIEVER
No Him, no fruit.
No Him, no strength.
No Him, no life.
When the believer begins to understand this kingdom principle, they stop struggling and start flowing.
Let me show you a Scripture:
“But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.”
1 Samuel 16:14 KJV
This was the story of Saul in the Bible. My Bible tells me that Saul was once anointed and used by God, but the day the Spirit of the Lord departed from him because he walked outside of God’s will, trouble came in.
Immediately God’s presence left, trouble came in.
Immediately Saul was disconnected, he became empty. You know why?
WHEN GOD LEAVES YOU, YOU CAN DO NOTHING.
The gift, the voice, the character, and the connection that you think you have—the day you think you are something without God is the day you begin to lose everything.
Begin to walk with this knowledge and in this knowledge: “GOD IS EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE.”
PRAYER
1. O Lord, this morning, I come back to the Vine. I cannot do anything without You. Abide in me, and let me abide in You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Have a blessed and fruitful day.
God bless you.
